About Us - Staff

The staff of the Louisiana Center for the Blind consists of the director, an administrative assistant, an office manager, a job placement and developmental specialist, a residential apartment manager, and instructors/counselors in each of the training areas.

A majority of the highly qualified and certified administrative and direct services staff are blind persons who serve as effective role models for those in training. In addition, all have worked in competitive employment of fields other than blindness as well as in the field of rehabilitation.
